We are pleased to welcome Victoria Shanghai Academy (VSA) as a Founding Member of The Alliance for Sustainable Schools.

Pictured below is the Head of Academy, Dr. Maggie Koong, signing the Sustainable Schools Charter in the presence of primary and secondary school students – including VSA’s two TASS Student Ambassadors, Lavina and Ana, together with Ms Shirla Sum, Secondary School Principal, Mr Ross Dawson, Primary School Principal and Mr Thomas Kitwood, Head of Science.

The school’s recent expansion of their learning complex incorporated rainwater irrigation, solar panels and a green terrace on the rooftop balconies – providing students with opportunities to engage in and learn about sustainability and to improve the ecological footprint of the school.
