We are excited to host a webinar on ‘Developing Global Citizenship Through Intercultural Dialogue’ in collaboration with Generation Global by the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change (TBI) – exclusively for TASS Student Ambassadors from member schools. 

Generation Global is an education programme for young people ages 13 to 17 that enables them to embrace the future equipped with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to become active and open-minded global citizens. 

A study conducted by TBI in 2022 found that young people globally are most concerned about three areas: better education, meaningful action on climate change, and greater social inclusion especially for women and religious minorities. The programme focuses on the power of dialogue (versus discussion or debate) to: 

• Increase youth voice and self-confidence in an inclusive way
• Foster cross-cultural relationships and critical thinking
• Build knowledge about global issues and how they are relevant

Intercultural dialogue skills are an essential tool for them to tackle these issues, make their voices heard and influence global change. Don’t miss out on this valuable learning opportunity. We look forward to seeing you there!
