When looking at education in the bigger picture, schools and education are able to influence and impact our behaviors and who we become as global citizens, even long after we graduate. Hence, sustainability in schools are important to me as it instills environmental stewardship values in us, the students. Allowing us to gain a nuanced understanding of climate issues along with a high level of environmental and social awareness. Equipping us with the tools to contribute meaningfully to the fight to mitigate climate change, whether small or large in the present and future. Since a young age, I have developed a passion for sustainability due to my early exposure to my dad’s work in the biodiesel industry. Which I hope to utilize, along with newfound knowledge to meaningfully contribute to the TASS community.

I am incredibly grateful and thrilled to be a TASS Student Ambassador. I am very excited about driving potential impact and change through different initiatives. Along with, most importantly, meeting and connecting with like minded individuals, from all across the world that have the same interests as me specifically in sustainability and climate impact.
