My interest in sustainability has developed and aided my experiences, such as participating in and becoming the President of my school’s Sustainability Club, where I’ve initiated projects aimed at reducing waste and raising awareness about eco-friendly practices. Schools are not just places for learning, they are also places for them to develop important skills, namely, responsibility. When we educate and promote sustainability, it doesn’t only benefit the local society but also fosters a waste-reducing mindset for students who may travel around the world, bringing their ideas everywhere. When we allow students to interact with principles and mindsets throughout their journeys, students will develop a mindset of innovation and responsibility. This important education therefore leads to a world that can thrive with a resilient and sustainable society.
