Sustainability in schools matters to me because I think lasting change starts with the habits and choices we make every day. I’ve seen that simply telling students to be more sustainable isn’t always enough – people are much more likely to participate when initiatives are interactive, relevant, and give them a reason to care.

What excites me most about being a TASS Student Ambassador is the opportunity to take that idea further. I’m looking forward to learning from students and schools across the TASS community, sharing ideas, and bringing new approaches back to HIXS. I’m especially excited to work on initiatives that make sustainability feel less like a topic we learn about and more like something we actively take part in.
