Sustainability at
Mubarak Bin Mohammed Charter School (Cycle 2)

At Mubarak Bin Mohammed Charter School (Cycle 2), sustainability is an integral part of our ethos, and we are committed to making positive environmental changes within our school community. One of our key initiatives is the Green Ambassadors program, where a dedicated group of students takes on the responsibility of leading sustainability efforts across the school. These ambassadors play a vital role in driving initiatives that promote recycling, energy conservation, and water usage reduction.

The Green Ambassadors actively encourage their peers and staff to adopt environmentally friendly practices, such as reducing waste through recycling, conserving electricity by switching off lights when not in use, and using water efficiently. Additionally, we integrate sustainability topics into our curriculum, enabling students to understand the broader implications of their actions and empowering them to make informed decisions for the environment.

Aligned with our vision of ‘Inspiring the next generation of learners,’ we strive to cultivate environmentally conscious leaders who not only value sustainability but are motivated to take action. Through the Green Ambassadors program and other sustainability efforts, we aim to inspire our students to lead by example, fostering a generation that actively contributes to a greener, more sustainable future. By embedding these values into their education, we ensure that our students are equipped with the knowledge and skills to shape a better world for all.
