At Harrow LiDe Hengqin, we are dedicated to cultivating responsible global citizens who lead with purpose, integrity, and a deep respect for the environment. Sustainability is a fundamental aspect of our school culture, aligned with our values of Fellowship, Courage, Honour, and Humility.

Our students actively engage in a variety of impactful initiatives aimed at creating a more sustainable future. Each week, we update the school community on our electricity usage and food waste through informative boards, fostering awareness and encouraging mindful consumption.

We have also introduced an Eco Garden, where students raise funds to install solar panels and contribute to eco-friendly practices. This space is also home to our food waste composting initiative, which turns organic waste into valuable compost for use in the garden, further enhancing our commitment to sustainability.

As part of our ongoing commitment to reducing waste, we have set up a second-hand school uniform exchange program, encouraging reuse and reducing the demand for new clothing. Additionally, our students regularly participate in coastal beach clean-ups on Qiao Island, helping protect the environment and preserve habitats for endangered species such as the Chinese White Dolphin.
