Orenda Learning is an impact driven organisation that equips young people with crucial knowledge, skills, qualities and the agency to affect positive global transformation in our rapidly changing and complex world.

Inspired by the ideals of the United World College movement and spearheaded by a UWCSEA alumni, former teacher and service program coordinator, Orenda Learning works with organisations around the world to support them to access, implement and deliver sustainability programs that lead to active citizenship locally and globally.

At Orenda Learning, we’re building a future where sustainability education is accessible to youth globally. We design our program and operations to be environmentally responsible, socially equitable, and economically inclusive. We believe that a truly sustainable future fosters regenerative mindsets and supports youth to be partners for change in their communities. 

Be The Change is a holistic online program for 14 – 18 year olds, delivering a robust curriculum through engaging lessons and a selection of carefully curated resources. This Turn-Key Online Curriculum will accelerate your students’ learning and positively impact your community! Be The Change aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals and educates for sustainable development.

The program is purely digital, interactive and built for easy access on desktop, mobile and tablet via leading Learning Management System Brightspace. Be The Change can be delivered completely online or in a hybrid manner. The 11 lesson Course and Toolkit can be flexibly facilitated over an academic year, with each student enrolment lasting for a 12 month period.

Be The Change requires students to be active in their learning and address real problems, working alongside community stakeholders and/or partner organisations like Not For Profits and NGOs.
