The Grange Institution Joins The Alliance for Sustainable Schools

We are thrilled to welcome The Grange Institution as a Founding Member of TASS. They are our first member in Singapore, as well as the first school in the Alliance to officially appoint primary aged students as TASS Ambassadors.

Pictured below is the school’s Founding Director, Ronald Stones OBE, with two primary school students in their eco-garden, an initiative that has transformed into a miniature forest with over 100 different types of fruits, plants, and vegetables.

Founding Director, Mr. Ronald Stones OBE quoted, “As educationalists, one of the greatest contributions we can make to repairing and sustaining the life of our planet, our society and our economy is by inspiring and guiding our students in recognising the importance of doing so, and then supporting them to become the change-makers.”

He added, “Our school’s membership of The Alliance will enable the sharing of ideas to make this happen. We are delighted to be part of this important movement.”
