Our First-Ever Annual Impact Report

Our First-Ever Annual Impact Report

Our first-ever Annual Impact Report is out!

Since we launched two years ago, over 100 heads of school in 27 cities have signed the Sustainable Schools Charter, and almost 200 student ambassadors have supported us in efforts to demonstrate sustainable alternatives for school transport, school food, school uniforms, school buildings and facilitate dialogue about best practice in education for sustainability.

More than 600 school staff have participated in our events or webinars. Our catering partners have served more than 21,000 low-carbon meals in 100 schools, and low-carbon biodiesel has been trialled on 19 school bus routes. We estimate these initiatives have avoided 65 tonnes of CO2 emissions. Read the TASS Annual Report 2024 here.

This is just a first step on what will no doubt be a decades-long journey, but it strengthens our conviction that schools working together can be catalysts for impactful environmental change at the scale and with the urgency the world needs.

To all our members, student ambassadors, partners and advisors – this is your work. We’re inspired, and we hope you are too. Congratulations, and thank you for collaborating with us to accelerate the transition to a sustainable future.

If your school would like to contribute to this effort, please get in touch with us.
