Island School Becomes The First ESF School to Sign The Sustainable Schools Charter

Please join us in welcoming Island School to The Alliance – our first English Schools Foundation (ESF) member in the network.

Established in 1967, Island School recently moved into a newly-built campus which features rainwater recycling, a small wind turbine and an Environmental Performance Monitoring System to track energy and water consumption.

Pictured above is the Principal, Stephen Loggie, signing the Sustainable Schools Charter in the presence of student leaders including TASS Student Ambassadors Alexandra and Jayden, sustainability lead Ross Burrough, and TASS representatives Mashal Mush and Jake Morton.

The Charter is a promise that Heads of School make when they join The Alliance to prioritise sustainability in all aspects of their operations and decision-making.

We thank the Island School community for their commitment to sustainability and look forward to working together.

If your school is interested in joining the TASS network, please fill out our Expression of Interest form and a member of our team will be in touch with you: https://forms.gle/h1bqHgHEtKGr9rx77
