We’re thrilled to announce that The Alliance has been granted funding from the Environment and Conservation Fund (ECF) for the Sustainable School Food Programme.

The 12-month programme will pilot low-carbon school meals across 10 local schools in Hong Kong in collaboration with school food catering companies, and promote their adoption by increasing students’ knowledge of the importance of sustainable food and by harnessing the science of behaviour change.

We expect that this pilot project can become a model for a larger scale effort involving many more schools in the coming years. Thank you to the Hong Kong government’s Environment and Ecology Bureau for their support and commitment to sustainability.
