The Alliance for Sustainable Schools is pleased to announce their participation in the upcoming GESS Dubai conference from 30 October to 1 November 2023 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Organised in partnership with the Ministry of Education – UAE, GESS Dubai is an exhibition and CPD accredited conference in the Middle East featuring innovative solutions, inspirational talks and dynamic workshops to transform the world of education.

This is a panel session titled ‘Designing, Building, Maintaining and Operating a Sustainable School Building’. Sustainable school buildings are one of TASS’s five areas of focus for systems change. School buildings are generally not very energy efficient leading to higher than necessary carbon emissions and operating expenses.

TASS promotes best practice in low-carbon and energy-efficient school building design and we work with architects, engineering firms, heads of school and building committees to envision and help create a more sustainable future.
