Brett is the Principal of Dubai British School – Emirates Hills and Convenor of the TASS-Middle East regional hub.

He was previously the Principal of The Arbor School, Dubai, a Founding Member of TASS in the UAE, where he led several environmental initiatives including the development of an eco-literacy curriculum, overseeing a whole-school sustainability audit, and pioneering the use of low-carbon biodiesel in the school’s buses. Recently, he has led TASS workshops on Connectedness to Nature for educators in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Bahrain.

A zoologist by training and a father of three, Brett holds a Post-Graduate Diplomas in Environmental Science and Secondary Teaching, and has spent over 20 years in education, the last 10 of which have been in the Middle East.
